[HCM – ITL Freight Management] Senior Regional Billing & Cost Control Officer

Work closely with regional Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to monitor logistics costs (sea, air, customs, trucking, VAS), ensure accurate billing, and support revenue/cost control. The role also coordinates with CS, Finance, and IT to resolve system issues, maintain tariff accuracy, and ensure data integrity for reporting and analysis.

Job Description

  • Prepare, verify, and issue billing to customers and partners in line with service contracts.
  • Review and approve overseas and local billing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure correct cost and revenue entries in the system for service transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date and correctly applied tariffs in internal systems.
  • Coordinate with AP/AR and Finance teams for reconciliation and follow-up on outstanding amounts.
  • Analyze and report on gross profit, cost deviations, and revenue recognition.
  • Support system upgrades or changes related to billing, cost control, or data workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or system issues and respond to customer or partner inquiries.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff or operational teams regarding billing and cost control procedures.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics.
  • Familiarity with working in a shared service or centralized billing environment is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of international logistics, including sea, air, customs, trucking, and VAS services.
  • Strong understanding of billing processes, cost allocation, and tariff management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and logistics systems
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good Computer skills (MS Office): Word, Excel, Power point
