Business Development Team Leader

  Volume based   strategy & planning   (20%)   Duties and responsibilities include, but are not   limited to:
  • Set volume based sales objectives based on business objectives and align the objectives with Business Growth Manager.
  • Build the overall volume based sales strategy with relevant pipeline and activities throughout the year to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop your own work plan and manage the work plan of team members following the strategy.
  • Report to the Business Growth Manager and BOD about the effectiveness of the overall performance with insight and plan for further improvement.
 
 
 
  Project   based strategy &   planning (20%)   Duties and responsibilities include, but are not   limited to:
  • Set project based sales objectives based on business objectives and align the objectives with Business Growth Manager.
  • Build the overall project based sales strategy with relevant pipeline and activities throughout the year to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop your own work plan and manage the work plan of team members following the strategy.
  • Report to the Business Growth Manager and BOD about the effectiveness of the overall performance with insight and plan for further improvement.
  Team Execution   Management (20%)   Duties and responsibilities include, but are not   limited to:
  • Event management: Plan and organize events such as workshops and webinars for the potential clients.
  • CRM: Follow up CRM process and implement CRM activities across channels to capture potential clients.
  • Others: Implement other sales activities based on the strategy at each period.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  Customer   Satisfaction (10%)
  • Follow-up and Coordinate with related Departments to resolve incidents
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments
 
  Team Leadership &   Management (10%)
  • Build & manage a team of specialists & executives together.
  • Coach & feedback to develop team members and maximize their potential.
 
  RESPONSIBILITY   AUTHORITY
  • Main in-charge of both Volume based & Project based sales planning.
  • Main in-charge of team management (turn over/ back fill rate etc...).
  • Main in-charge of External stake holders.
  • To be present as VELA representative with External stake holders.


QUALIFICATIONS   EXPERIENCE
  • Heath in good condition.
  • A fast learner, ability to multi-task and work independently under high pressure
  • Problem solving.
  • Experience in B2B Logistics Platform or in a third party Logistics Company preferred.
  • At least 2 year experience as B2B Business Development Manager, managing at least 2-3 people.
  • Having a deep knowledge of B2B Logistics sales experience, potential clients nurturing and having passion to grow further in this career path.
  • Excellent communication skill, especially in the field of B2B business field.
  • Excellent planning, project management and time management skills.
  • Experimental mindset with enthusiasm about self-challenging.
  • Data-driven mindset with technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of data; process, design, and present it in ways to map out customers’ insights in order to help the organization make better decisions.
