ITL Corporation Is Proud To Make Our Mark At The UD Extra Mile Challenge 2024

Recently, ITL Corporation’s representative Mr. Nguyen Minh Phat, driver of ITL Logistics, has successfully overcome the challenges and being honored to receive the “Driving Skill Award” for the driver with the best driving skills in the final round of the UD Extra Mile Challenge 2024, taking place on October 23rd – 26th in Ageo-Shi, Japan.

UD Trucks Extra Mile Challenge is an international competition organized by UD Trucks Corporation aiming to promote safe and efficient driving activities while affirming the company’s commitment to improving driving skills for drivers, with a special focus on sustainable and safe fuel efficiency. ITL representatives have participated in the challenge as per the invitation of UD Trucks Vietnam.

With excellent professional skills and tireless practicing efforts on each journey, Mr. Nguyen Minh Phat and other representatives of ITL have brought great pride to ITL Corporation in general and ITL Logistics in particular. This achievement is not only a personal achievement but also a demonstration to ITL’s vision and efforts in training a team of drivers with excellent driving skills, professional attitudes and a high sense of responsibility.

ITL has been focusing on investing in a modern fleet of more than 400 prime movers, 700 trailers and 100 distribution trucks,… in the North-Central-South. In particular, ITL has invested in purchasing a new fleet of 60 UD Trucks Quester 330HP 6×4 tractors to improve its capacity to provide customers with high-quality road transport solutions while fulfilling its commitment to sustainable development, reducing CO2 emissions in transportation and aiming for the company’s Green Freight goal.

Not only focusing on service, ITL is also a pioneer in implementing the Defensive and Eco driving training for drivers to raise their awareness of saving fuel, protecting the environment, and ensuring the safety on driving. The annual “Defensive and Eco – Driving” competition has implemented for nearly 6 years (2018 – 2024) with some remarkable achievements, coming from the efforts of drivers and ITL to ensure safety, improve transportation quality and bring satisfaction to customers.
