[HCM – ITL Freight Management] Air Freight Team Leader

Job Description

• Ensure to send the booking on time
• Ensure to give the correct instruction to document team
• Ensure to satisfy customer request
• Ensure no complaints from internal & external customers
• Set clear objectives, define roles and responsibilities and ensure each team member aligns with the team’s vision.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks within the team, prioritizing operational excellence and quality service delivery.
• Identify and address conflicts early, facilitating discussions and finding satisfactory solutions for all parties involved.
• Support and guide team members to ensure they meet their individual targets and KPIs.
• Generate reports on team performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Manage and resolve escalated issues through comprehensive root cause analysis (RCA) and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Provide support for sales-related endeavors.

Requirement

– Working in a forwarder company is preferred
– Overall work exp of 5 to 7 years with 1- 2 years of experience in leading a team is preferred.
– Good in English
– Educational and professional certifications related to logistics and management would be preferred.
– Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to the role.
– A deep understanding of air freight logistics, including regulatory compliance, customs procedures, and financial aspects related to air transport.
