[HCM – ITL Freight Management] Sea Freight Supervisor

  • Supervise and manage daily sea freight operations, including booking, documentation etc …
  • Lead and develop the sea freight operations team through coaching, performance reviews, and continuous improvement.
  • Built strong relationships with agents and clients to ensure service excellence.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays or disruptions.
  • Monitor team to ensure timely and accurate filing AMS, ICS2, billing, invoicing for all sea freight activities.
  • Promote operational efficiency by identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Foresee staff mistakes via daily activities and prevent to minimize extra cost
  • Control staff workload, forecast volume & prepare workforce overcome peak season
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support escalations from customers and internal teams; provide prompt and effective solutions.
  • Participate in customer visits and manage customer-specific SOPs and performance reports.
  • Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training for new team members when required.
  • Take part in project assignments and business trips as needed.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • 5–8 years of experience in ocean freight operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Solid knowledge of forwarding and logistics procedures.
  • Proficient in logistics systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • DGR certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends and travel for business as required.
