ITL EXPERTS SHARED ABOUT THE "KEY CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES FOR SALES IN LOGISTICS SERVICES”

December 16th, 2019, the seminar of "Key Challenges & Opportunities For Sales In Logistics Services", organized by Vietnam Logistics and Aviation School (VILAS) and accompanied by ITL Corporation, took place successfully at the school. The seminar opened with sharing of Mr. Alexander Olsen about the reasons of the Sales resources lack in the Logistics industry today. In terms of businesses, Logistics companies often lack talents to lead teams and to be responsible for developing Sales team. Based on his experiences, Mr. Alexander provided the fun facts about Sales in Logistics industry as following:
• Looking for customers on their own
• Performing multiple tasks
• "Drinking" but still have to "Drive Sales"
• No real relax time, regardless of working hours, Sundays, Holidays, etc
• Only business turnover is the most important to the company
• Under pressure from customers and companies
• Maintain long-term business
 
Mr. Alexander said: “Sales in Logistics is always a challenging job. If you do not make mistakes, you are not trying hard enough to be successful”.
 
Mr. Pham Anh Duy - Strategic Sales Senior Manager of ITL Corporation listed the challenges of Sales in Logistics in an objective and subjective manner:

Also, Sales is a kind of job that can create the great opportunities for young people to build new relationships and learn more from the continuous changes of the Logistics industry.
