ITL And The Green Seeds Journey In Vietnam
With the goal of growing the intelligence of Vietnamese children through promoting reading culture, starting from 2018, ITL has organized the Green Seeds program to donate books to schools in different regions of Vietnam. The program aims to ignite a love for reading books and cultivate a reading culture for today’s generations of students.
Over the past 6 years, ITL has collaborated with some trusted organizations to organize 12 Green Seeds programs in 10 provinces and cities nationwide. The program has donated 424 bookshelves with 10,600 books to schools in Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Ha Tinh, Ben Tre, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Tien Giang, and Son La. This meaningful activity is one of the key targets of ITL CSR program aiming to join hands with the community to bring the brighter future for Vietnamese young generation.
In addition to donating books, ITL has also awarded scholarships and health insurance for primary, secondary and high school students who study well and have difficult circumstances. Each of ITL's gifts for children does not stop at material value, but more importantly, that is ITL's care and sharing with the young generation of Vietnam.
In particular, the Green Seeds program has been implemented and accompanied by Prof. Kishore Mahbubani - Authority on Asia & Global Affairs. As a special guest speaker in ITL Lecture program organized in March 2023, Professor Kishore Mahbubani sponsored for the Green Seeds program and expected to contribute to spreading the kindness supporting for Vietnamese young generation.
ITL will continue spreading this meaningful journey of "Green Seeds" to students in other areas of Vietnam in the incoming time.
