ITL Implemented A Series Of Meaningful CSR Activities In June 2024

Since the first CSR activity on June 6^th, 2017, nearly 80 CSR activities with a total value of over 12 billion VND have been implemented by ITL across Vietnam and the region. ITL implemented a series of CSR activities towards the community and marked the 7-year CSR journey at the beginning of June. Let’s take a look back at these meaningful activities.
 
1. ITL BLOOD DONATION DAY 2024 – LIVE TO SHARE

On June 5^th, 2024, ITL coordinated with Blood Transfusion Haematology Hospital (BTH) to organize ITL Blood Donation Day 2024 – Live To Share at ITL Building, 52-54-5 6 Truong Son, Ward 2, Tan Binh, HCMC. The event attracted the participation of over 100 ITL, MLC-ITL members from the difference offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong.
 


ITL Blood Donation Day is a meaningful activity taking place yearly and being implemented by ITL since 2017 aiming to share precious blood to people in need, continuing to promote the spirit of compassion, demonstrating ITL’s culture - Live to Share. 
 
ITL Blood Donation Day 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City has ended with 37,450 ml of blood donated. We hope this meaningful activity will bring hope and faith to many lives out there.

2. ITL CSR DAY – 7^TH ANNIVERSARY
 
On June 6^th, 2024, ITL organized ITL CSR Day 2024 – 7th Anniversary aiming to mark our 7-year CSR journey and recognize ITL Board of Directors, sponsors, partners & all ITL-ers for their meaningful contributions to ITL’s CSR activities over the past 7 years. The event took place in ITL operating office, 52-54-56 Truong Son, HCMC, and being connected to ITL North in Hanoi office.


 
At the event, Mr. Simon Thuc - Deputy General Director, VP - Human Resources and the representatives of HCMC Sponsoring Association For Poor Patients and Compassion Books program shared their thoughts and feelings about CSR programs that have brought values to the young generation, the community, society and environment.

Participating in the event, Mr. Tran Huu Tam - Vice Chairman of HCMC Sponsoring Association For Poor Patients sent his appreciation to ITL for accompanying the Association in a lot of CSR activities, especially the free eye surgery programs for poor patients, supporting for orphans by Covid-19, donating clean water filtration system for students in Tien Giang province,... He expressed his expectation that ITL would continue to accompany the Association in the next meaningful programs.



Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the founder of Compassion Books program also expressed his appreciation for ITL's CSR journey over the past 7 years. He expected that ITL would continue to accompany Compassion Books program in the coming time, supporting the young generation in their educational journey, broadening their knowledge, and ensuring the brighter future ahead.
 

 
Within the framework of the event, ITL Board of Directors presented the Appreciation Certificates and thank you gifts to the representatives of HCMC Sponsoring Association For Poor Patients & Compassion Books program and to the representatives of 120 ITL-ers from the North, Central and South who had contributed significantly to ITL CSR activities over the past years.

Particularly, ITL awarded the winning individuals and teams of ITL Green Race 2024 and presented a symbolic board worth 1,200,000,000 VND to HCMC Sponsoring Association For Poor Patients to sponsor clean water filtration system for students in Tien Giang province this year. This contribution has resulted from ITL Green Race 2024, each kilometer run/walked by participants has been converted into 40,000 VND to supporting clean water filtration system for students
 
3. ITL FAMILY PLANTING TREES DAY 2024

On June 8^th, 2024, ITL continued organizing a meaningful trip to plant 1,500 trees, covering 5 hectares of forest in ITL Family Planting Trees Day 2024 at Cu Chi Botanical Garden. The event was participated by a lot of ITL, Sotrans Group, MLC-ITL members and their families.
 
At this event, ITL-ers were instructed to plant trees by the Management Board of Cu Chi Botanical Garden, planted trees themselves, and took photos with their labor results. Previously, ITL organized ITL Green Race 2024 from April 4^th to June 6^th, 2024. When the participants reached 20,000 km of running/walking, ITL unlocked ITL Family Planting Trees Day 2024.
