ITL Myanmar Aviation Team To Handle Wide-Body Aircraft At The First Time Ever In The Covid-19 Period

Aiming to serve our customers’ demands in this period, ITL Myanmar Aviation has agreed with Malaysia Airlines (MABKargo) on a cooperation to operate P2C (Passenger to Cargo) flights in A330 wide-body aircraft starting from May 9th, 2020. P2C flight is planned to operate Kuala Lumpur - Yangon - Kuala Lumpur (KUL-RGN-KUL) every Saturday subject to cargo demands at both sides - customers and the airlines. A330 can accept the cargo loading about 20 tons in Gross Weight and 120 cbm (Cubic meter) in Volume Weight.

P2C flights will bring best freight solutions to our customers and Myanmar's Airfrieght import and export during this period when Myanmar government has announced a suspension of all national passenger flights to Myanmar via Air Travel starting from April 1st to May 31st, 2020 to effectively prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Myanmar. This has disrupted supply chain and affected Airfreight import and export of Myanmar because air transport of the country mainly depends on international passenger flights.

This P2C flight can provide the services for both the inbound cargo (Worldwide destinations to Yangon via Kuala Lumpur) and outbound (Export from Yangon to Worldwide Destinations via Kuala Lumpur). In the current situation, this is the flexible solution, meeting the requirements of Myanmar Airfreight market and providing the best air transport solution for our customers

  • ITL Myanmar Aviation has handled very first P2C flight by Malaysia Airlines in Myanmar started from May 9th, 2020
  • Our 2nd flight landed on May 16th, 2020
  • Our 3rd flight and 4th flight are planning to fly on May 23rd & 30th, 2020
As one of the leading GSA in Myanmar, ITL Myanmar Aviation is confident to bring the best air freight solution to meet all cargo demands to our customers during this period.
